State Duma deputies reported on the income
Last week income of State Duma deputies were announced for the first time.
Average salary of an official is less than 2 million rubles a year, but there are 38 deputies whose income exceeded 10 million rubles., and 17 officials earned more than 100 million
The most wealthy MP — is co-owner of the gas company Novatek, a former vice-president of Yukos, now a United Russia party of the Energy Committee, Leonid Simanovsky. He declared 1.184 billion rubles.
On the second place — the former CEO of the company «Coke», and now deputy chairman of the Duma, United Russia, Boris Zubitsky. He earned in 2009, 423.8 million rubles.
The third place in earnings among the deputies took a member of the Committee on Labor and Social Policy Gregory Anikeev (earned 860 million USD.), the founder of the industrial group «Anikeev business invest», which produces frozen foods.
Some legislators argue that they live on one salary. Thus, Lyubov Sliska and Nadezhda Gerasimova, speed skater Svetlana Zhurova and communist Ivan Melnikov indicated in their declarations only the salary.
